Terms and Conditions – Ticket Sales
Tickets are sold by Pentridge Village Hall (unless otherwise stated), Pentridge, Dorset SP5 5QX. Registered Charity no. 301161 on behalf of producers, promoters and event organisers, as well as for Pentridge Village Hall in-house productions
Conditions of Sale for all booking channels
Returning your tickets
A credit or exchange service for tickets are not available, however in the event of extraordinary applications, final decisions will be made by Pentridge Village Hall committee and will be subject to the return of all tickets.
Refunds
Tickets will not be refunded unless a performance is cancelled. If a performance is cancelled or abandoned, Pentridge Village Hall will make every effort to accommodate the ticket holder at another specified event date / time or offer a refund.
Children
Children will not be permitted to any event which has been listed as adults only. Where an event is listed with a recommended age, younger children may not be permitted. Parents are reminded that some performances and events are not suitable for young children. If the ticket holder wishes further clarification about an event, please contact Pentridge Village Hall by email to info@pentridgedorset.co.uk prior to purchase.
Tickets are required for each child attending a performance.
If a child is causing a disturbance to others, the situation, if unresolved, may result in the responsible adult being required to remove the said child from the event or performance and in this instance, no refund will be given.
Booking Charges / Fees
Online bookings are subject to transaction/booking fees which go towards paying for the payment to be processed. Booking Fee’s are liable on a per ticket basis and costing may vary between events and performances.
Concessions and Discounts
Pentridge Village Hall offer concessions and discounts for some events and performances. Only one concession or discount can be applied per ticket.
Child ticket refers to children aged under 16 years unless otherwise stated.
You may be asked to prove with identification, any valid reason for concession or discount, for example to prove the age of a teenager using a child ticket.
Delivery of tickets
Unless otherwise stated, tickets will not be posted out. In most cases, tickets will be in the form of an email confirmation, containing a booking / order number which must then be printed by the ticket holder and produced on admission to the event. If a purchase has been made in person, the ticket holder may be given a ticket or supplied with a receipt containing the relevant order number, which again must be produced on admission to the event as proof of purchase.
Arriving late
Late arrival of ticket holders for the start of a performance or after an interval will need to take their seat as soon as possible. The organisers will do everything possible to assist. To limit disturbance to fellow audience members and artists, the ticket holder may have to wait until a suitable break in the performance to take their seat. Occasionally this may not be possible once the performance has started but alternative arrangements will be attempted.
Conditions of entry
Organisers and their assistants are keen to enhance the ticket holders experience and wish to ensure everybody’s safety and comfort at all times. Ticket holders are therefore required to follow all reasonable guidance.
The taking of photograph’s and use of recording equipment may be prohibited during the performance, therefore ticket holders are required to comply with any related instruction.
On occasion either the venue or a permitted third party may carry out general filming and sound recording in or about the venue. By purchasing tickets there is an automatic applied consent by anyone attending the event to be filmed / recorded, and without right of payment.
Where given cause, Pentridge Village Hall reserves the right to:
- refuse admission to the premises and any of its venues
- request any ticket holder to leave the venue, and take appropriate action to enforce this right
- change the advertised arrangements of any performance in the event of illness or any cause beyond the organisers’ control. This includes non-appearance of any named artist
