Thank you to our NHS

Footpaths in Pentridge Dorset

On Thursday 26th March 2020, the whole of the UK came out in force to say a huge thank you to our NHS and other key workers risking their lives during this pandemic.

Covid-19 (or Coronavirus) has brought about a huge amount of fear, loss and change to the way that we are living our lives throughout the UK and worldwide.

In these times, we take note of those special moments where people come together – the key workers, the volunteers and the community support teams are just a few of those heroes.

Our entire village came out in force on Thursday evening to say thank you. Cheers and clapping and even the banging of pans could be heard up and down the village, along with the sounds of voices wishing each other well over the hedges and fences.
