We have now had confirmation that we have been awarded a grant by The British Heart Foundation towards an iPad SP1 defibrillator. This will be located at The Village Hall so that it is easily accessible to anyone who may need it – it should be installed within the next few weeks. Hopefully, this will never be needed but will provide peace of mind to all the residents of Pentridge and Woodyates and will be at hand should anyone need it. Well done and thanks to everyone who helped raise money towards our Defibrillator Fund.
Come along to Pentridge Village Hall between 3-5pm on Bank Holiday Monday, 7th May 2018 and enjoy a fabulous Dorset Cream Tea with homemade scones, strawberry jam and clotted cream or perhaps you would prefer a delicious homemade cheese scone instead – all washed down with a cup of tea or coffee for just £3. Why not take a walk across Martin Down or up Pentridge Hill to Penbury Knoll and admire the beautiful countryside we have around us then pop in for a restorative Cream Tea afterwards! Dogs welcome.

New Village Fete Planning Team
As the Village Fete is our largest fundraiser, and the most challenging to organise, we are now looking for our Fete Planning Team.
As part of the Fete Planning Team, you can have your say, bring your knowledge and expertise, get hands on, or simply help with administration – whatever role you can bring will be greatly appreciated!!!
You don’t have to be a Pentridge or Woodyates resident to get involved.
We would like to get started with our first Fete Planning Team meeting taking place on January 24th, at 7pm in Pentridge Village Hall.
If you are interested in getting involved with the Village Fete, please some along to the meeting. If you can’t make this meeting but would like to be involved, please send us an email to email@example.com
In annual tradition, residents of Pentridge and Woodyates (along with Rev Mel Durrant) took to the frosty evening streets to sing for their supper.
This years charity was Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) and we are pleased to anounce that £100 was raised!!!
Thank you to all those who came along to sing and to all of those who opened their doors to us and gave to this wonderful cause.
